energy<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">113 nuclear reactors are active in the world<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Nuclear energy is producing constantly energy<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">We don\u2019t know what is demand level in the future, but we see we need energy<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">everyday more and more<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Asia has become the epicentre of global nuclear growth<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">China has 58 reactors in operation, 23 under construction (largest programme<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">worldwide)<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">India has 24 reactors, 6 under construction<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Europe: interesting picture:<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0Many European countries have future plans to construct nuclear energy<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0EU is energy mix<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Why we need nuclear energy:<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0In EU we have geopolitical tensions<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0Climate change and resilience<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0Development of renewable energies<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0Our opportunities are<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0&#8211; Low and stable price<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0&#8211; Targets are easier to get (EU 2050)<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Overall goal is reducing CO2<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">We need to have more local energy fields<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In France we have invented nuclear energy for political reasons and independence<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">We have one of the least carbonized states in the world (France)<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">France has a comprehensive nuclear industry<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Estonia opportunities:<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0Energy independence<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0Low and predictable price<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0Resilience and controlled energy consumptions<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0Support sustainable development<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0Low-carbon energy<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ukraine is a good example for Estonia<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Switzerland has the oldest reactor in the world and they still using it<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Nuclear energy makes new jobs<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Security of supply<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In France we have 2 nuclear powerplants built near the border<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If you compare of oil and gas, there are lower risks of dying (we have only one bad<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">example and that is Chernobyl)<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I think Germans are not naive, but they have different cultural and social approach<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">and that is why they cancelled nuclear energy programme<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">UK have come back to nuclear energy<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In our country we have difficult time<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Nuclear safety must take very seriously \u2013 a modern nuclear plants can resist to<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">different natural disasters.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Russia has not destroyed any nuclear plants in Ukraine, because they know there<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">can be different consequences for them too<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Russia has built power plant in Turkey \u2013 they operate it and manage it<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Nuclear reactor is huge and long investment<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If for example Estonia overproduces nuclear energy you can sell it to all Europe<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Emmanuel
